Summary

The Artifact Cross-Site Blog RollUp WebPart allows you to view all posts published on any blog site within a SharePoint site collection and therefore provides much better visibility to new entries blog published anywhere within the site collection.

It has the possibility to display recent entries or entries in a particular category.

Displays the title of the blog (linked to the blog), the first words, the author, the number of comments and the date of publication.

Instructions

The Artifact Cross-Site Blog RollUp WebPart can display the latest blog entries, filtered by pre-established criteria. This requires editing the page where you want to display blog entries or news highlights and insert the web part that provide.

Has the following settings:

• Type List for items
• Perform Search only in Subsites
• Number of minutes to refresh the items
• Number of items to display
• Number of words to be displayed on each item
• Display the creator and the date of publication
• Categories
• Display the first image of the item
• More button text
• URL to redirect
• Open in modal window

In the next picture we see an example of how it would display this artifact. Blog entries that have image; this is displayed to the left of the news, the news is clipped to the first 45 complete words, news recovering from all blog sites within a site collection whose ticket category is marked as Home at the bottom and you can display information relevant to the News.
